DribbleBabies is pleased to announce bestselling Author Alika Turner. Alika Turner took on the children’s book industry in 2015 with her bestselling book June Peters, You Will Change the World One Day. Alika now has 4 published and very successful books. As a children’s book author Alika found that there are no limitations when you were born to write.  With less than two years as a published author Alika has experienced success on inconceivable levels. From radio interviews to blog features everyone has taken a liking to Alika’s work. Currently, she is working on her next book in the June Peters series, starting a new book series of children’s chapter books, teaching a publishing class designed just for kids, and writing the 2nd installment to her very juicy adults book, A Passionate Killing.

Alika spends a lot of her free time developing her craftsmanship, and helping authors do the same. Since starting a Facebook page called Reading Is Golden, for independent authors to promote their work she has learned very valuable information about book publishing and what it takes to be successful. She used this information to develop a kid friendly 6 week workshop called Publishing Made Easy Kids Edition, which was held at the Southeast Atlanta Library. Not only does she provide a service to children she also takes on adult clients.

June Peters, You Will Change the World One Day

June Peters is a vibrant ten year old girl who understands the importance of giving. She's determined to make a difference in the world and will do whatever it takes to complete her mission. However, she learns a valuable lesson about talking to strangers and giving away her lunch money. June is still eager to help those in need even if it means losing the one privilege she worked so hard for. June, like many innocent and naive children, does not understand why her act of kindness is both well received by others, but worrisome to her parents. June is remarkable and this story will encourages children and adults alike to see, to feel, and to take action in order to help those in need. This book is not only great as a bedtime story but is also a great fit for the classroom.
